We’re looking for a creative, reliable and proactive Video Editor & Social Media Content Creator to join our team on a part-time, remote basis.
You do not need to film content. Our team in Sydney will provide raw video footage, job-site videos, before-and-after photos, talking-head videos and other brand materials.
Your job is to turn that raw content into professional, engaging social media content that educates homeowners, builds trust in the Ohana Plumbing brand and helps generate enquiries.

• Create Instagram Reels, TikToks,
• Review raw footage and identify the strongest clips and moments.

• Add captions, music, transitions, graphics, sound effects and other visual elements where appropriate.
• Turn plumbing topics into simple, interesting and educational content homeowners can understand.
• Create before-and-after and problem/solution videos from our projects.
• Edit talking-head and educational videos featuring our plumbers and team.
• Repurpose one piece of raw footage into multiple pieces of social content.
• Create different versions and angles from the same project where appropriate.
• Follow Ohana Plumbing's brand guidelines and maintain a consistent, professional visual style.
• Make amendments based on feedback from our team.
• Suggest new hooks, content concepts, trends and creative ideas.
• Organise content and deliver completed videos within agreed deadlines.

• A strong portfolio demonstrating Reels, TikToks, Shorts, paid ads or business marketing content.
• Strong understanding of short-form content, hooks, retention and storytelling.
• Ability to make educational content visually engaging.
• Experience with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or similar editing software.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly spelling and captions.
• Good creative judgement when selecting footage.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines while still bringing creative ideas to the team.
• Reliable internet connection and ability to download/upload large video files.
• Organised, dependable and able to work independently.
• Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions.
Bonus Skills
These aren't essential, but we'd love to hear from you if you also have experience with:
• Meta/Facebook ad creatives
• Direct-response video editing
• Creating multiple hooks or variations for paid advertising
• Canva or graphic design
• AI video and content creation tools

What Success Looks Like
We don't want someone who simply cuts clips together.
We're looking for someone who understands why someone stops scrolling, why they keep watching and what makes them take action.
You should be comfortable looking at raw footage and thinking:
"How can I turn this into a piece of content that a Sydney homeowner would actually stop and watch?"
If you're creative, reliable, enjoy experimenting with social media content and want to work with a growing Australian home-services brand, we'd love to hear from you.
