JOB OVERVIEW

???? Video Editor (Short-Form & YouTube) – Long-Term Role

Company: Aaron Page
Location: Remote (Philippines-based)
Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (depending on skill and availability)

???? About the Role

We’re looking for a highly skilled and creative video editor who can bring stories to life across platforms — from engaging short-form Reels/TikToks to well-paced, professional YouTube videos.

You’ll be working directly with Aaron Page, an entrepreneur and coach who’s built multiple businesses and helps others improve their mindset, health, and financial freedom. Our content blends education, lifestyle, business, and motivation, so we’re looking for someone who can make it visually exciting and emotionally powerful.

???? Responsibilities
Edit short-form content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) using b-roll, captions, transitions, and sound design.
Edit long-form YouTube videos (podcasts, vlogs, coaching content).
Add motion graphics, subtitles, and branding using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve if preferred).
Organize raw footage, cut unnecessary content, and keep videos dynamic and engaging.
Understand pacing, storytelling, and content structure for different social media platforms.
Occasionally assist in repurposing content from long-form to short-form clips.

???? What We’re Looking For
Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (or equivalent).
Familiar with current social media trends and editing styles.
Ability to create eye-catching, high-retention edits.
Excellent sense of timing, pacing, and attention to detail.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Reliable, responsive, and open to feedback.

???? Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Colour grading
Audio clean-up and mixing
Thumbnail design
Experience creating edits in both 16:9 and 9:16 formats

???? Trial Task (Required)
To apply, please complete this short test:
Download this sample raw clip: ----------
Create two versions of the same edit:
One short-form edit (under 60 seconds, optimized for Reels/TikTok — with captions and pacing).
One YouTube-style edit (2–4 minutes, focused on flow and storytelling).
Upload your finished videos to Google Drive or Dropbox and include the links in your application.
This trial helps us see your editing style and how you bring content to life.

???? Compensation
Competitive rate (based on experience and skill)
Long-term role with room to grow
Bonuses for exceptional work and meeting deadlines

???? How to Apply
Please include the following:
A short 30 second intro about yourself
Your portfolio or sample work
Your trial task video links (required)
Your expected monthly salary (in PHP)

We’re not looking for someone who just cuts clips — we’re looking for a creative partner who understands storytelling, pacing, and visual impact.
If that sounds like you, we’d love to see your work!
