JOB OVERVIEW

About the role

We're an established ecommerce brand producing a high volume of short-form video ads (UGC-style, social-first). We're growing our video team and looking for a second full-time editor to work alongside our current one.

You'll take scripts we provide, interpret them, and turn them into scroll-stopping short-form videos with strong pacing. Our workflow is organised and systemised: scripts and feedback live in Google Sheets, our content library is in Dropbox, and finished videos are delivered via Google Drive.

What you'll do

Edit short-form video ads from scripts we provide (UGC style, social/paid-ads focused)
Interpret scripts and bring them to life with strong pacing, hooks, and flow
Pull and use footage from our organised content library (Dropbox)
Add voiceovers (we use ElevenLabs)
Take on feedback and revise quickly (feedback is left in Google Sheets)
Deliver finished videos on time via Google Drive
Keep your work organised and consistent with our systems

Must-have skills

Strong short-form/UGC video editing experience (please share a portfolio or examples)
Excellent understanding of pacing, hooks, and retention for social video
Confident reading and interpreting scripts, you turn words into video, not just cut clips
CapCut proficiency
ElevenLabs (or similar AI voiceover) experience
Good written and spoken English
Reliable, organised, and comfortable working within an existing system (Google Sheets, Dropbox, Google Drive)

Nice to have (a big bonus, not required)

We're moving heavily into AI-assisted video production and will train the right person on our stack over time. If you already have experience with any of these, mention it, it's a strong plus, but you don't need it to apply:
