We are seeking a talented Video Editor for TikTok Shop content.
While we provide hands-on training to help you master our specific style, this role requires a solid foundation in editing. You must understand the basics of viewer retention, pacing, and what makes a video engaging. We provide detailed instructions and structured training. If you are willing to learn, adapt quickly, and have a strong drive to create high-retention content, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Edit short-form product videos using DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, or equivalent professional software.
Study and execute our brand guidelines and training materials before incorporating your own creative style. This is the most critical requirement. We have a highly specific aesthetic, and consistently ignoring instructions or guidelines will result in termination.
Trim out mistakes and silent portions of raw footage, adding B-roll where necessary.
Enhance engagement by adding captions, subtle zoom effects, sound effects, and brand-aligned creative text.
Optimize strictly for TikTok (vertical format, fast pacing, strong hooks).
Study our content
Maintain an efficient workflow by utilizing automated tools for captions rather than wasting time doing them manually.
Requirements
Hardware: You must have decent computer hardware capable of editing and playing back 4K footage smoothly without lag.
Experience: A portfolio of short-form video work (clips, personal projects, or client work) demonstrating your technical skills.
Communication: Fast response times and reliable communication during working hours are non-negotiable.
Availability: Monday through Friday, at least a few hours a day.
Pay Structure: Starting pay is $5 per completed video (plus frequent bonuses based on performance), with raises based on performance. You are paid for approved videos that follow our instructions and meet our quality standards.
Work Hours: Flexible hours, but deadlines are strict. You will have plenty of time to finish videos, but you must communicate immediately if a delay occurs.
Test Project (Pass/Fail)
To be considered, you must complete a short test project using provided raw clips and a reference video to prove your technical ability and attention to detail.
Strict Export Settings: Deliver in vertical format (9:16), 1080x1920 at 60fps. Export using HEVC / H.265 compression and upload in Quicktime / .mov format. Failing to use these exact export settings will result in automatic disqualification.
