Long-Term Opportunity | Full-Time | Remote

We are a fast-growing exterior home improvement company in the US looking for a talented, reliable, and proactive Video Editor to join our growing team.

This is more than just an editing position. You will be our first Video Editor in a brand-new media division, giving you the opportunity to help build our content system, develop our visual style, and grow with the company long-term.

If you are someone who takes pride in your work, pays attention to detail, understands social media, and enjoys turning raw footage into videos people actually want to watch, we would love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing
Edit engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels and Facebook
Create strong hooks that capture attention within the first few seconds
Edit for high viewer retention using effective pacing, cuts, and storytelling
Add captions, on-screen text, transitions, sound effects, and basic motion graphics
Turn raw footage into polished, professional, social-media-ready videos
Follow and help develop a consistent brand style
Research current Reels/Facebook trends and bring new creative ideas to the team
Test different hooks, edits, and formats to improve content performance
Keep projects organized and deliver completed videos on schedule
Communicate proactively and ask questions when clarification is needed
Take ownership of your work rather than waiting for constant instructions

Experienced in short-form video editing
Creative and has a strong eye for what makes a video engaging
Comfortable creating content designed for viewer retention
Detail-oriented and takes pride in producing high-quality work
Reliable and consistent
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Proactive and willing to suggest improvements and new ideas
Comfortable receiving feedback and making revisions
Organized and able to meet deadlines
Responsive and professional when communicating with the team
Interested in growing their skills and taking on more responsibility over time
Software

Experience with any of the following is welcome:

Adobe Premiere Pro
Adobe After Effects
CapCut
DaVinci Resolve
Final Cut Pro
Other professional video editing software

You do not need to use every program listed. We care more about your editing ability and the quality of your work.

Experience That Is a Plus

Experience creating content for any of these industries is a bonus:

However, great editing skills and a strong portfolio are more important than industry experience.
