JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a Video Editor to support our media team across podcasts, YouTube channels, social media content, and digital advertising assets. You'll work closely with the Media Project Manager/Quality Analyst to turn raw footage into polished content that aligns with client goals and platform best practices.

Projects may include podcast episodes, YouTube videos, Shorts, social media clips, promotional videos, and video ads. You'll be responsible for following established workflows, maintaining quality standards, and delivering projects on schedule.

The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple projects. Strong communication skills and the ability to apply feedback efficiently are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form podcast episodes for YouTube and other digital platforms
- Create engaging short-form content, including YouTube Shorts, and other social media clips as needed
- Edit promotional videos, video advertisements, trailers, and other marketing content as assigned
- Follow client-specific editing styles, branding guidelines, and content requirements
- Incorporate feedback and revision requests accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all edits meet quality standards for audio, video, graphics, captions, and overall presentation
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to established naming conventions and workflows
- Meet production deadlines and communicate proactively regarding project status
- Collaborate with the Media Project Manager/Quality Analyst to resolve issues and improve content quality
- Stay current with platform trends and editing best practices for YouTube and social media content

Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience editing podcasts, YouTube videos, and social media content
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with creating short-form vertical content optimized for social platforms
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, retention, and audience engagement techniques
- Experience working with captions, motion graphics, transitions, audio enhancement, and basic color correction
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing polished final deliverables
- Experience working remotely and following structured workflows
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools is a plus
