US$700-$1,000/month · 30 hrs/week

Hi, I'm Hudson — an Australian founder. I build software and document the whole thing on YouTube.
I'm hiring ONE editor, part-time, 30 hours a week, long-term. The same guaranteed volume every week. This is not project-by-project work.
There is no test project, paid or unpaid. I'm hiring on your past work, your attention to detail, and how you answer the questions at the bottom.
WHAT YOU'LL EDIT
1. Long-form YouTube. This is the main job. Build-in-public videos, tutorials, breakdowns, 8 to 20 minutes. They have to stay interesting the whole way through. That is the actual skill I'm paying for.
2. SaaS launch and product videos. 60 to 90 seconds, high polish, for the software I'm building.
3. Short-form vertical cuts. Some pulled out of the long-form, some filmed standalone. This is what keeps your week full and the work consistent rather than feast-or-famine.
THE QUALITY BAR
Go and watch the hero video on the Kleo 3.0 launch page. OnlineJobs strips links out of job posts, so type the address into your browser yourself. It is: kleo dot so slash 3
That is the standard. Specifically, here is what I mean by it:
- Kinetic typography that lands on the beat, one word at a time, with the key word in a brand colour while the rest stays white
- Clean UI mockups that animate in 3D space and settle
- Real depth. The speaker is masked and layered into the graphics, with some cards passing behind her and others sitting in front. She is inside the graphics, not pasted on top of them
- Dark gradient interstitials with a soft brand glow, used as punctuation between sections
- Cards and testimonials that stagger in on their own timing, hold, and leave cleanly
- Split layouts where the speaker drops to a rounded picture-in-picture beside the information
- Cutting and sound design that keep the pace up without turning it into a meme edit
Note that the whole video is one person at one desk. No b-roll is carrying it. Every bit of watchability is motion graphics. That is exactly what I need, because that is how I film.
If you can't build the things in that list in After Effects, this role isn't for you. Please don't apply — I'll only say no, and we both lose the time.
WHAT I NEED
- Strong After Effects. Premiere or Resolve for the assembly is fine
- Motion graphics you built yourself, not bought templates
- The ability to hold a viewer's attention through a 15 minute video
- Reliable weekly turnaround and clear communication in English
- A real 30 hours a week, consistently
WHAT YOU GET
- US$700 to US$1,000 per month depending on what your portfolio actually shows
- 30 hours a week, every week, long-term
- Paid on time every time, via Wise, PayPal or GCash
- Organised briefs. Footage, brand kit, script, references and timestamped notes in one folder. You will never be chasing me for an asset
- Your rate reviewed at 3 months
HOW TO APPLY
Read this part carefully. How you answer it is most of my decision.
1. Start your message with the word TANGERINE
2. Send 2 or 3 links to videos you personally edited. Public links only — YouTube, Vimeo, or your own site. No Google Drive, no Dropbox, no WeTransfer, no downloads. For each one, tell me exactly which parts you made
3. Send one link that is specifically motion graphics work. If your best motion graphics sits inside a longer video, give me the timestamp
4. Pick one effect from that Kleo hero video (kleo dot so slash 3) and tell me in a few sentences how you would build it. I'm not looking for a perfect answer. I want to see how you think
5. Tell me what you edit in, and how many hours a week you can genuinely commit
6. Tell me your monthly rate for 30 hours a week
Short is fine. Two great links and six honest answers beat ten paragraphs.
I read every application and I reply either way.
