Video Editor (Meta Ads) — Paid Advertising Specialist

Overview
We’re looking for a performance-driven Video Editor who specializes in creating and iterating high-converting Meta ads
You’ll work closely with our creative and marketing team to turn product footage, UGC, and brand assets into ads that feel native, emotional, and optimized for performance.
What You’ll Do
1. Edit performance-focused Meta ads (9:16, 4:5, 1:1) built for conversion
2. Create strong hook-first edits optimized for the first 1–3 seconds
3. Work with UGC, stock footage, product clips, voiceovers, and text overlays
4. Deliver multiple variations per concept (hooks, pacing, captions, formats)
5. Add native-style captions, motion graphics, and text overlays to improve watch time + clarity
6. Build edits that follow performance best practices:
- strong first-frame
- pattern interrupts
- fast pacing
- clarity + emotional pull
- proof + benefits + CTA
7. Organize assets cleanly and version edits clearly for testing (V1, V2, HookA, HookB, etc.)
8. Collaborate in a testing workflow: get performance feedback ? iterate quickly
What We’re Looking For - Must-Have Skills
1. Meta ad editing experience (portfolio required)
2. Understanding of ad performance: hooks, retention, pacing, storytelling
3. Strong typography + caption design that matches Meta-native styles
4. Can cut and structure ads that convert, not just look good
5. Experience editing UGC-style ads and product-driven creatives
6. Strong attention to detail, sound design, and pacing
Technical Requirements
1. Proficiency in Premiere Pro / After Effects / CapCut / Resolve (any is fine)
2. Ability to export optimized ad-ready formats and aspect ratios
3. Ability to deliver quickly with clear versioning and organized files
Bonus Points
1. You’ve edited ads for DTC brands doing paid scale
2. You understand creative testing frameworks (new hooks, angles, formats, iterations)
3. You can create lightweight motion design / kinetic type
4. You can help brainstorm hooks and ad structures (not required, but a huge plus)
What Success Looks Like
You consistently produce ads that:
- grab attention immediately
- keep viewers watching
- clearly communicate the product + emotion + value
- support creative testing with multiple variations
- improve performance over iterations
Deliverables & Workflow
You’ll typically be assigned:
- 3–10 ads per week (depending on availability)
- Each concept may include 3–6 variations (different hooks, pacing, CTA, etc.)
- Turnaround is usually 24–72 hours, depending on project load
Pay
Paid per project or hourly depending on experience and workflow preference
(we’re open to flexible arrangements and long-term collaboration)
