ABOUT THE ROLE
Lovejoy Real Estate is seeking an experienced, disciplined, and brand-focused Video Editor & Marketing Assistant to manage our visual content pipeline.
In this role, you will be responsible for taking our raw footage and turning it into polished, high-performing video assets that align perfectly with our strict branding guidelines. This includes editing long-form content for YouTube, extracting high-engagement vertical Shorts, and handling the core marketing pieces that accompany each release. You will work within an established content formula—we do not create unpredictable, multi-hour videos out of nowhere, but we do demand flawless execution of our existing structure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Video Editing & Production (Primary Focus)
- Edit long-form video content specifically optimized for YouTube according to our established format.
- Cut, reframe, and optimize high-impact vertical videos (Shorts/Reels/TikToks) from long-form footage.
- Apply and maintain strict adherence to brokerage branding, color grading, typography, and audio standards.
- Deliver consistent, predictable turnaround times on all video assets without sacrificing quality.

2. Content Marketing & Asset Creation
- Handle the complete publishing preparation for videos, including basic asset coordination.
- Utilize graphic design skills to create clean, high-click-through YouTube thumbnails and social graphics.
- Ensure all supporting video marketing materials match our brand's aesthetic.

3. Operations & Communication
- Maintain open, immediate communication and responsiveness throughout the entire workday shift.
- Organize, back up, and manage raw footage and completed project files systematically.
- Incorporate constructive feedback from leadership quickly and precisely.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Video Editing: Proven experience editing for YouTube and short-form vertical platforms (portfolio required).
- Software: Mastery of professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
- Graphic Design: Intermediate proficiency in Photoshop, Canva, or Illustrator for thumbnail and asset creation.
- Brand Alignment: Strong eye for continuity, pacing, and strict adherence to established brand assets.
- Discipline: Exceptional responsiveness, time management, and the ability to work independently under fixed shift hours.
