Kops is a media company behind some of the biggest creator brands on YouTube.

Our CEO, Jordi, is one of the biggest content creators on YouTube, with millions of viewers around the world.

Our YouTube channels include Kwebbelkop, with over 15 million subscribers, and BlooGaming, with over 3 million subscribers.

We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Long-Form Video Editor to join the BlooGaming team and help us create high-quality, entertaining gaming content for a massive global audience.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Long-Form Video Editor for BlooGaming, you will take raw gameplay recordings and transform them into engaging, entertaining, and polished YouTube videos.

A major part of the role involves working with recordings from 2–3 different POVs. You will need to sync the footage, identify the strongest moments, build the story, and create an edit that keeps viewers engaged throughout the entire video.

You will work closely with the Channel Manager and will be responsible for implementing creative direction and revisions while maintaining a consistent editing style.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will sync and cut recordings from 2–3 different POVs and combine them into a cohesive and entertaining long-form video.

You will edit gameplay footage with music, sound effects, visual overlays, transitions, and other elements that improve the overall viewing experience.

You will use AI tools to generate footage that can be incorporated into key moments of the video when appropriate.

You will identify opportunities to improve pacing, comedy, storytelling, and viewer retention.

You will follow creative direction from the Channel Manager and make revisions based on feedback.

You will organize your projects and assets efficiently and make sure completed videos are delivered on schedule.

You will work as part of a remote production team focused on consistently producing high-quality content.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone who understands that great YouTube editing is about more than simply cutting footage together.

You should have a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, comedy, sound design, and viewer retention.

You should be able to take hours of raw gameplay footage and quickly identify the moments that matter, build a compelling sequence, and turn them into a video that people want to keep watching.

Strong familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro is required.

You must have experience editing long-form YouTube content and be comfortable working with multiple gameplay POVs.

Strong communication skills are important because you will be working directly with the production team and receiving creative feedback.

You should also have strong time management skills and be able to consistently meet deadlines.

You must be comfortable making revisions and implementing feedback from the Channel Manager.

NICE TO HAVE

Experience with GTA 5 is highly preferred.

Experience editing gaming content or content similar to the Bloo channel is a major advantage.

Experience working with multi-POV gameplay recordings is highly preferred.

Experience using AI tools for video or shot generation is also a strong advantage.

Experience working with established YouTube creators or large YouTube channels is a plus.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a creative editor who understands gaming content and knows how to make a video entertaining.

You don't just follow instructions. You understand why certain cuts, sound effects, music, visual effects, and pacing choices make a video better.

You are comfortable working with large amounts of raw footage, finding the best moments, and turning them into a cohesive story.

You are also reliable, responsive, open to feedback, and capable of working independently in a remote environment.

SCHEDULE

This is a part-time position requiring 4 hours per day, 20 hours per week.

We are looking to hire ASAP, so candidates who are available to start quickly are strongly preferred.
