Video Editor for Real Estate Marketing Content (Long-Form YouTube)
Type: Remote, Contractor (with potential for ongoing work)
Rate: Competitive, based on experience and skill
The Role:
We’re looking for a skilled, reliable, and creative video editor to join our content team. Your primary responsibility will be editing 10-30 minute long-form YouTube videos for real estate professionals. The videos are educational, engaging, and strategically designed for lead generation — so quality and storytelling are key.
This is NOT a chop-up-and-export gig. We're looking for someone who understands pacing, structure, branding, and how to create a video that actually performs.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Editing 10-30 minute YouTube videos with a strong sense of story, pacing, and visual engagement.
Incorporating branded intros, outros, and transitions.
Enhancing content with b-roll, graphics, subtitles, music, sound effects, etc.
Applying best practices for audience retention and organic growth.
Communicating with our internal team (and occasionally with clients) through our project management platform.
Following (and sometimes helping refine) video frameworks that align with our client strategy.
Working within deadlines, offering suggestions for improvements, and taking feedback like a pro.
Required Skills:
Proven experience editing YouTube content — ideally in the education, coaching, or real estate niche.
Strong command of tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent.
Understanding of YouTube content trends, hooks, retention strategies, and visual storytelling.
High attention to detail (especially with audio, pacing, and cuts).
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative feedback loop.
Great communicator — written and verbal (English proficiency is a must).
Bonus: Experience working with real estate or vlog style content.
