**YouTube Video Editor Needed (Long-Term) | Gardening & Plants Channel**
Hi!
I'm looking for a creative and reliable video editor for a long-term YouTube channel focused on gardening, plants, vegetables, flowers, and growing food at home.
The channel mainly creates educational, list-style videos about specific types of plants and gardening topics.
Example video topics include:
* 16 Crops That Easily Survive Heavy Rain**
* Plant These NOW – The Best Plants for August**
* 10 Vegetables You Only Need to Plant Once**
*15 Plants That Thrive in Extreme Heat**
* 12 Crops You Can Still Plant Late in the Season**
* 10 Forgotten Vegetables Almost Nobody Grows Anymore**
* Plants Every Gardener Should Grow at Home**
### What I Provide
For every video, I will provide:
* The full script
* The finished voice-over
You do not need to write scripts or record voice-overs.
#Your Job
Your main responsibility will be turning the script and voice-over into an engaging approximately 30-minute YouTube video.
This includes:
* Finding high-quality stock footage and images that accurately match the plants and gardening topics mentioned in the script
* Making sure the correct plant is shown when a specific plant, vegetable, herb, or flower is being discussed
* Editing the footage to match the voice-over
* Using different clips and angles to keep the video visually interesting
* Adding smooth transitions, subtle zooms, text highlights, and simple animations when appropriate
* Maintaining good pacing throughout the entire video
* Creating a clean, natural, professional gardening aesthetic
The videos are faceless, so you will mainly be working with stock footage, gardening footage, plant images, and other relevant visuals.
# Requirements
I'm looking for someone who:
* Has experience editing YouTube videos
* Is good at finding high-quality and relevant stock footage
* Can identify and use the correct plants mentioned in the script
* Has a good understanding of pacing and viewer retention
* Pays attention to details
* Can follow instructions and maintain a consistent editing style
* Communicates reliably and meets deadlines
* Uses Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar professional editing software
Experience editing gardening, nature, farming, homesteading, or educational content is a big plus.
# Payment
The payment is $15 per completed video.
Videos are typically around 30 minutes long.
This is a long-term position, and I am looking for someone who can edit multiple videos every month. If we work well together, there will be consistent work available.
# How to Apply
Please send me:
* A few examples of your previous video editing work
* The editing software you use
* Your availability
* How many approximately 30-minute videos you could realistically complete per week
* Any experience you have with gardening, plant, nature, or educational videos
Looking forward to finding an editor I can work with long-term!
