About the Role
We’re an e-commerce brand looking for a highly skilled, creative, and efficient video editor who can work with an existing library of footage, source b-roll, and leverage AI tools to turn raw assets into high-converting video content for paid ads and social media.
This isn’t about making cinematic films, it’s about making performance-driven content that grabs attention, sells products, and tells our brand story across platforms like TikTok, Instagram,

Key Responsibilities
• Work with an existing bank of raw content (UGC, testimonials, product demos, photos) to build new edits that align with our campaigns.
• Source b-roll, stock video, and audio when needed to enhance storytelling.
• Edit videos with fast pacing, sharp hooks, strong CTAs, and a native understanding of platform-specific content (especially Meta and TikTok ads).
• Use AI tools like ElevenLabs (for voiceovers), Runway, Descript, or other AI-enhanced tools to accelerate editing and voiceover production.
• Add dynamic captions, motion graphics, transitions, and music to align with the brand voice and platform trends.
• Organize assets, name files clearly, and follow our internal creative process and storage systems.
• Collaborate with the creative strategist or founder to iterate and test different angles, hooks, and edits.

You Are
• A fast, resourceful editor who knows how to make magic from existing footage.
• Obsessed with short-form video trends, particularly on TikTok, IG Reels, and
• Experienced in using AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity (e.g., for voiceovers, script generation, captioning, or b-roll sourcing).
• Highly organized and able to work independently within clear creative briefs.
• Skilled at editing for performance, not just aesthetics — you know what makes someone stop scrolling and click.
• Fluent with tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve. (Bonus: After Effects, Photoshop, Descript, Runway ML, etc.)

• Have edited winning ads for e-commerce or DTC brands
• Are comfortable working in Notion for task management
• Can write or edit short scripts for UGC or voiceover content
• Understand direct response marketing principles
