Job Title:
Job Overview:
We are launching a brand-new faceless evergreen YouTube channel and looking for a talented, detail-oriented Video Editor for a 90-day trial period (with strong potential to extend into a long-term role).
Because this is a faceless channel, the visual editing carries the story. We need someone who can take a voiceover track and script and turn it into a visually captivating masterpiece. You must deeply understand how to keep viewers glued to the screen using the Hook, Promise, and Payoff framework to maximize audience retention.
Expected Monthly Output:
• 4 Long-Form Videos per month (approx. 8–12 minutes each)
• 10 Short-Form Videos / Shorts per month (under 60 seconds)
Compensation & Terms:
• Long-Form Videos: $15.00 per video
• Short-Form Videos: $4.00 per video
• Total Monthly Budget: $100.00
• Project Duration: 90-day initial contract (Part-time / Gig basis) and could be a long term job.
What We Are Looking For:
• Faceless Channel Specialists: You know how to keep a video engaging without a talking head. You excel at finding high-quality, relevant B-roll, stock footage, graphics, and animations.
• Retention Experts: You understand pacing. You know how to change visuals every 3 to 5 seconds to keep the viewer’s brain engaged.
• Mastery of the Hook: You know how to visually back up a powerful script hook in the first 30 seconds of a long video and the first 3 seconds of a Short.
• Audio Enhancement: Strong use of sound effects (SFX) and background music to build tension, curiosity, and emotion.
• Software: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Or any form of editing apps/software.
