About Clipstic
Clipstic makes ski season easier. Our hero product, the Clipstic Plus, clips skis and poles together so they're effortless to carry, loved by families and everyday skiers across North America and Europe. We're a fast-growing direct-to-consumer brand with a lean, high-output creative team, and we're expanding our video production capacity ahead of our biggest season yet.
The Role
We're looking for a full-time video editor who can work at high volume without sacrificing quality. You'll be editing short-form performance ads (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and organic content using raw footage, UGC clips, voiceovers, and motion graphics supplied by our creative team.
This is a production-heavy role. You need to be fast, consistent, and able to follow a brief precisely while still bringing creative instinct to pacing, hooks, and cuts.
Deliverable target: 40 edited videos per week.
What You'll Do
Edit short-form video ads (15-60 seconds) for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube from provided briefs
Work with UGC footage, lifestyle b-roll, on-screen text, voiceovers, and music to build high-retention hooks
Follow creative briefs exactly -correct aspect ratios, captions, brand colors, pacing notes
Deliver organized, labeled files on schedule every week
Iterate quickly on revision rounds (usually 1--2 per asset)
Communicate proactively if a brief is unclear or a deadline is at risk
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years of video editing experience, ideally for a DTC or ecommerce brand
Strong portfolio of short-form performance ads (Meta/TikTok preferred)
Genuine understanding of snow skiing: you know what a chairlift, a slope, powder snow, and a ski carry look like, and why they matter to our customer. Your knowledge will be tested, so faking with AI won't work
Ability to hit 40 deliverables per week consistently, not occasionally
Reliable internet connection and a setup capable of handling HD/4K footage
Strong English comprehension for reading briefs and giving status updates
Experience with captions/subtitles and mobile-first framing (9:16)
Nice to Have
Experience editing UGC-style ads that feel organic, not produced
Familiarity with ski culture, seasonal outdoor lifestyle content, or action sports
Basic motion graphics skills (lower thirds, text animations)
Working Setup
Full-time, 40 hours/week
Remote (Philippines-based)
Hours: flexible, with overlap during CET/CEST business hours for brief reviews and feedback
Communication via Slack; briefs delivered weekly with clear deadlines
To Apply
Send your application with:
A link to your portfolio or reel (performance ads preferred, not wedding/corporate)
A short note (3--5 sentences) on your editing process when you receive a new brief
Your weekly output capacity and what software you use
Answer this question: Name one thing about snow skiing that you think a first-timer finds surprisingly difficult.
Applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed.
