Full-Time Video Editor Contractor Role (Remote)

Role Overview
We are building a newly structured personal brand and content team and are seeking a Full-Time Video Editor to serve as the dedicated editor for all content created across our Founder's personal channels. The Video Editor will work closely with the Personal Brand Strategist, who will provide content direction, creative briefs, and strategic guidance. The successful candidate will be responsible for turning these briefs into polished, engaging content that supports audience growth of the Founders personal brand.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit all video content based on briefs provided by the Personal Brand Strategist.
• Create engaging short-form and long-form content for platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
• Apply and maintain the established editing style, visual identity, and content standards.
• Add captions, graphics, transitions, sound design, music, and other production elements where required.
• Organise and manage video assets, project files, and content libraries.
• Deliver content efficiently while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
• Work collaboratively with the strategist and founder to continuously improve content performance and production processes.
• Support the scaling of content output as the personal brand grows.
Requirements
• Proven experience editing social media and digital content.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing software.
• Experience creating high-performing short-form content.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, hooks, audience retention, and platform-specific editing techniques.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently while following clear creative direction.
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet connection and professional home-working setup.
