JOB OVERVIEW

VIDEO EDITOR + CONTENT RESEARCH (FULL-TIME, LONG-TERM)

I run an e-commerce business and manage multiple social media pages across different niches. I’m looking for a full-time Video Editor + Content Researcher to join my team long-term.

This role is for someone who can edit short-form videos in CapCut, follow references closely, work fast, and understand why content goes viral.

MAIN TASKS

1) Video Editing (core task)
• Edit short-form videos in CapCut
• Work from my footage, my references, and my system
• Recreate videos with the same pacing, cuts, hooks, text style, sounds, and structure
• Replace hooks, text, sounds, and small details where needed
• Prepare final versions ready for posting

2) Content Research
• Find fresh viral videos, hooks, and trends in different niches
• Collect strong reference videos
• Understand why a video performs well
• Send organized research into the correct workspace

TRAINING

Full training will be provided for:
• my editing system
• my content research system
• my workflow and process

But you must already:
• know CapCut
• have at least medium-level editing skills
• have real editing experience
• understand short-form content structure
• understand what makes a video perform well

Beginners will not be considered.

IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS

Because all content is created and checked on Apple devices, you must have at least:
• a MacBook, or
• an iPhone

This is mandatory because colors, fonts, and final look can differ across devices.

If you do not have a MacBook or iPhone, do not apply.

You must also:
• send your previous work examples
• state which MacBook model or iPhone model you use

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR
• Good CapCut skills
• Experience with short-form content
• Comfortable working with voiceovers, text overlays, pacing, cuts, and medium-level editing tools in CapCut
• Able to follow references closely, not freestyle
• Good research ability
• Fast worker with a fast device
• Comfortable with routine and repetitive work
• English level good enough to fully understand instructions and video content

WORKLOAD

This is not random editing from scratch.

You will work mainly from:
• my footage
• my references
• my system

The workflow is built for speed and can reach 120+ videos per week.
Not all videos are built from zero, but this is still a lot of routine, repetitive work, so you must be comfortable working fast and consistently.

PAY
• Base rate at the start: $1,000/month for 172 hours
• Equivalent hourly rate: $5.81/hour
• At the beginning, compensation will be fixed salary only
• Later, there will be an opportunity to move to salary + percentage, depending on the value, creative ideas, and results you bring
• In the future, there may also be an opportunity to become a partner on some projects and share profit directly

SCHEDULE
• Tuesday to Saturday
• 06:00 AM to 02:00 PM Philippines time
• 8 hours/day
• Fixed schedule

Other days and other working hours are not being considered.
