We’re hiring a Video Editor (Ads) to produce high-converting ad creatives for SaaSLaunch clients. You will take raw footage, scripts, and storyboards and turn them into polished ads optimized for performance on Meta
Compensation
This is a project-based role where editors are paid per creative or batch of creatives. Compensation will depend on experience, speed, and quality of work.
Editors who consistently produce high-performing creatives may also receive performance bonuses when ads scale successfully across client campaigns.
As SaaSLaunch continues to grow, this role may expand into consistent weekly creative production and long-term collaboration.
Your Role
As a Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for creating ad creatives that grab attention, stop scrolls, and drive conversions.
You’ll work closely with our Media Buyer and Performance team to test creative angles, iterate quickly, and produce new ad variations that improve campaign performance.
This role is ideal for someone who understands both video storytelling and direct-response marketing.
Responsibilities
• Edit ad creatives from raw footage, scripts, and storyboards
• Produce multiple ad variations for testing (hooks, CTAs, formats, lengths)
• Adapt videos to different placements (feeds, reels, stories, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Add captions, graphics, animations, and sound design to increase engagement
• Collaborate with Media Buyers to align creatives with campaign goals
• Deliver edits quickly (24–48 hour turnaround when needed)
• Stay updated on trends in SaaS ads and direct-response marketing
Requirements
You’re a great fit if you:
• Have 1+ years of video editing experience (ads or social media preferred)
• Have experience editing direct-response ads (Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn preferred)
• Have worked on UGC-style ads or SaaS content
• Understand what makes an ad convert (hooks, pacing, CTAs)
• Are fluent in English and can follow scripts/storyboards with minimal supervision
• Are fast, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
• Are experienced with tools like Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, or CapCut
Success Metrics
• Deliver consistent creative output and variations each week
• Improve campaign performance through strong creative edits
• Maintain 24–48 hour turnaround time for most edits
• Collaborate effectively with Media Buyers and Client Success team
