We're looking for a highly skilled video editor who can analyze successful videos and recreate them using a combination of AI tools, stock footage, and original shooting when necessary.
What You'll Do
Analyze reference videos and break down their structure, pacing, and visual elements
Recreate videos using AI-generated actors/avatars (HeyGen, Synthesia, D-ID, etc.)
Generate custom b-roll using AI tools (Runway, Pika, Stable Video Diffusion)
Source and select high-quality stock footage that matches the original's intent
Film product shots, demonstrations, or body-double scenes (no face required)
Match editing styles, transitions, music beds, and pacing from reference videos
Color grade and composite AI elements seamlessly with real footage
Ensure output feels authentic despite being recreated/synthesized
Rapid iteration based on performance data
Required Skills:
Advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
Proven experience with AI avatar/actor platforms (HeyGen, Synthesia, D-ID, Rask)
AI video generation expertise (Runway Gen-3, Pika, Stable Video Diffusion)
Strong eye for shot selection - knowing what b-roll sells vs. just fills space
Experience with deepfake/face-swap tools when needed (with ethical use)
Compositing skills to blend AI-generated elements naturally
Stock footage expertise - knowing where to source and what converts
Basic filming ability for product shots and demonstrations
Understanding of what makes videos work - hooks, pacing, retention tactics
Must-Have Technical Skills:
Video upscaling and enhancement (Topaz, waifu2x, ESRGAN)
Background removal and replacement
Voice cloning and lip-sync tools
Motion tracking and stabilization
Ability to match any editing style within 24-48 hours
Fast turnaround times (same-day for simple edits)
PAID TEST PROJECT - $50 per video ($100 for both videos)
Before we proceed with interviews, we require a paid test to assess your skills.
Test Requirements:
You will receive 5 reference video links
The videos are approximately 1 minute long
Choose 2 of the ads that best showcase your abilities
Recreate each ad with the following specifications:
Must look authentic as if from a real person. Looking for an amateurish presentation not a professional/polished video
Use the same script from the original
demographic is 40 year old+, white female, American accent
Create minimum 50% visual and/or audio difference from the original (different actors, b-roll, backgrounds, voice-over etc.)
Maintain the same energy, pacing, and effectiveness
Use AI tools, stock footage, or self-shot footage to achieve the recreation
Each video should be similar length as the original
Deliverables:
2 recreated video ads
Brief explanation (2-3 sentences) of your approach for each video
List of AI tools and resources used
Payment: $100 USD for both videos via Paypal upon satisfactory completion
Deadline: 72 hours from receiving the reference videos

Technical skill with AI tools and editing
Speed and efficiency

The ideal candidate will become our go-to editor, handling 10-20 video recreations weekly with potential to grow into a full-time role. We value speed, creativity, and the ability to work independently once you understand our style.
