Are YOU an experienced video editor who specializes in Meta Ads for ecommerce brands? Can you look at a competitor's winning ad and immediately understand why it works — the hook, the pacing, the clip choice, the emotional beat — and replicate that thinking, not just the edit?
If you answered an enthusiastic "YES," KEEP READING.
We run an international ecommerce brand selling both physical and digital products (ebooks, video courses) to English-speaking audiences in the US, UK, EU, and Australia. We're looking for a dedicated, full-time Video Editor to join our creative team and eventually grow into Head of Video Editing.
We're not chasing virality. Our goal is one thing: ads that stop the scroll and sell. Every video needs a hook strong enough to interrupt scrolling, and an edit that keeps attention high all the way through.
What you'll own:
Sales-Focused Ad Production: Editing high-conversion Meta ads from scripts we provide — built to sell, not to go viral.
AI Scene Generation & Recreation: Hands-on fluency with AI video tools (Google Flow, Higgsfield, and similar) to generate or recreate scenes and B-roll when what we have isn't enough — you don't wait for footage, you create it.
Clip Curation & Sourcing: We'll provide a folder of selected B-rolls; if additional clips are needed, you source or generate them autonomously. High-quality only — traditional stock footage (Shutterstock, Envato, etc.) is strictly FORBIDDEN.
Script-to-Screen Interpretation: We give you the hook and body copy; you d
Strategic Input, Not Just Execution: We want a creative partner, not a pair of hands. You should actively propose new hooks, new formats, and new angles based on what you're seeing perform — not wait to be told what to test next.
Constant Trend Awareness: You're the kind of editor who's already testing a new AI tool or ad format before we ask about it. Staying ahead of trends in short-form ad creative is part of the job, not an extra.
Subtitle & Detail Precision: Clean, perfectly synced subtitles, no typos, no timing errors — this is an area where we accept zero compromise.
Reliable, On-Time Delivery: Every deadline is a real deadline. Late deliveries disrupt the whole ad pipeline, and consistency here matters as much as editing skill.
Position Requirements:
Full-time availability. This is not a 2-hours-a-day gig. If you're currently juggling 5–6 different clients and can't guarantee us priority and focus, please don't apply.
Immediate or near-immediate start.
2+ years of specific experience editing Meta Ads for ecommerce brands — physical product experience is fine, but experience with digital products (ebooks, courses, info-products) is a strong plus.
Practical experience with AI video generation tools (Google Flow, Higgsfield, or equivalents) — this is not optional, it's core to how we produce content now.
Fluent English — our team and all creative content are in English; you need to understand tone, nuance, and pacing at a native or near-native level.
Strong grasp of hook, retention, and pacing — you should be able to explain why a cut works, not just execute it.
A strategic, growth-minded approach — you think about what's next for the brand's creative, not just what's on today's task list.
Weekend availability when needed, paid accordingly.
Obsessive attention to detail. Subtitles, transitions, and timing must be clean. Mediocrity isn't tolerated on this team.
Genuine passion for the craft of editing, and for staying current with where it's heading.
What We Offer:
Performance bonuses tied to ad results, starting from month one.
Real growth path to Head of Video Editing as the brand scales.
Direct involvement in an international brand's creative strategy — your instincts and proposals shape what we test next.
