JOB OVERVIEW

ABOUT US:
Lucky Pets is a fast-growing German D2C brand selling premium
nutritional supplements for dogs. Developed with veterinarians,
manufactured in Germany. Our main sales channel is Meta
(Facebook & Instagram) and we are scaling aggressively.

THE ROLE:
We are looking for a performance video editor who lives and breathes
Meta advertising. You understand how VSLs work, how to structure
long-form paid social content, and how to turn a script into a
video that sells. You work fast, you work independently, and you
deliver multiple finished videos per day.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON:

? VSLs (Video Sales Letters) — 3 to 5 minutes long
The core of our Meta strategy. You receive a script. You turn it
into a fully finished, conversion-optimized video — including
sourcing visuals, B-roll, AI-generated content, captions, pacing,
and sound design.

? Short-For ---------- ta Ads — 30 to 90 seconds
Hook-first, fast-paced, direct response ads for Facebook and
Instagram Feed and Reels.

FORMAT:
9: ---------- vertical for Facebook & Instagram. Same assets but maybe with slightly changes also run on
Pinterest, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
You own the video from script to finished file. That means:
? Sourcing all visuals — B-roll, stock footage, or AI-generated content
? Creating custom AI video content tailored to our brand and audience
(cute, emotional, brand-fit dog visuals — animated, comic-style,
or cinematic AI footage). We have had good experience with Kling
— but you use whatever tool gets the best result.
? Captions, pacing, music, sound design
? Hook optimization — if you see a better way to open the script,
speak up. We value that.

We provide: the script and UGC material when available for the specific product.
You provide: everything else.

HOW WE WORK:
We keep things simple and structured. There is a clear task list
that you work through. You have everything you need to get started and
we trust you to deliver. We love working with people who are
self-driven and take pride in their output.

Especially in the beginning, we will have more frequent check-ins
and feedback rounds together — until we have found our shared style,
vision, and quality standard. Once we are aligned, things will flow
naturally from there.

REQUIREMENTS:
? Proven experience editing Meta ads — VSLs and short-form.
Portfolio with real ad examples required.
? Deep understanding of VSL structure: hook ? problem ? agitation
? solution ? proof ? offer ? CTA
? Knows how to stop the scroll in the first 2–3 seconds
? Strong self-sourcing skills — you find your own visuals
? AI video generation is a core skill, not optional. You must be
able to create high-quality AI visuals independently.
? Proficient in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
? Works fast, delivers in volume, manages own time

HIRING PROCESS:
Paid test project to start.
? You receive: company briefing and script
? Your task: deliver one finished Meta VSL (4–5 minutes)
? Turnaround: 3–4 days
? Pay: $20

If we love the result, we would love to bring you on full-time (40h/week) .
