JOB DESCRIPTION:

We're a Scandinavian e-commerce brand in pet health that crossed $1M+ in annual revenue in our first year. We have 25,000+ customers. Our ads are what built this — not investors, not luck, not partnerships. Direct response ads on Meta that convert cold traffic into buyers, every single day.
And we're just getting started.
Right now, our biggest bottleneck is creative. We need more ads, faster, better, and we need someone who can own that process alongside the CEO. Not just "edit videos." Actually understand why an ad works, build more of what wins, kill what doesn't, and constantly push the bar higher.
That's you.

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT:
This isn't a "here's a brief, make it pretty" job. You'll see real numbers. You'll know which ads are printing money and which ones flopped. You'll understand the strategy behind every creative decision. And over time, you'll go from executing briefs to creating winning concepts on your own.
We want someone who grows into a Creative Strategist — not someone who stays a button-pusher forever.
Where you start:
Video Editor & AI Content Creator — executing briefs, editing ads, building assets.
Where you can go (6-12 months):
Creative Lead — concepting ads, directing UGC creators, owning the entire creative pipeline.
We've seen what happens when we find the right person and give them room to run. That's what we're offering.

WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO:
Week 1-4 (Onboarding):
Learn our brand, our customer (we'll share our full research), our ad library, and our workflows. Edit 3-5 video ads per week from existing footage and assets. Get familiar with our brand and content pipeline. Go through our editing training program.
Month 2+ (Full Speed):
Edit 5-10 short-form video ads per week (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok). Create UGC-style and testimonial-style edits from raw footage. Build image and video assets using AI generation tools (Midjourney, Runway, Kling, CapCut AI — we'll train you on our specific stack). Repurpose winning concepts into new variations and formats. Experiment with new AI tools and workflows — then show the team what works. Assist with creative assets as needed (email banners, thumbnails, simple motion graphics).
KPIs — How we measure success:
Ads delivered on time (deadline = deadline, no exceptions).
Creative hit rate — percentage of your ads that beat our control (we track this).
Volume — consistent output without quality dropping.
Proactivity — you flag problems, suggest ideas, and improve without being asked.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
You're a video editor who's already playing with AI tools because you're genuinely curious. Not because someone told you to — because you can't help it. You've tested Runway, Kling, Pika, Midjourney, CapCut AI, or similar tools on your own time. You understand that AI doesn't replace creativity — it 10x's it.
You also understand direct response. You know that the first 3 seconds of an ad d ---------- everything. You've watched breakdowns of winning ads. You notice hooks, transitions, pacing. Maybe you've edited ads before. Maybe you've just studied them obsessively. Either way, you get it.

Required:
Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut — tool doesn't matter, output does).
Experience editing short-form content (ads, Reels, TikToks).
Hands-on experience with at least 2 AI tools (image gen, video gen, or AI-assisted editing).
Good eye for typography, pacing, and visual hierarchy.
Solid written English for team communication.
Reliable internet and a setup that can handle video editing.
Bonus (will put you ahead):
You can show ads you've edited that actually ran as paid campaigns.
You understand hook ? story ? CTA structure.
Experience with Shopify, Canva, or Figma.
Motion graphics or animation skills.
Experience in pet, health, wellness, or DTC e-commerce.

COMPENSATION & GROWTH:
$900 – $1,200 USD/month base (depending on experience).
Performance bonuses on winning ads (ads that beat our control and scale = bonus for you).
13th month bonus after 1 year.
Salary review at 6 months — if you're performing, you'll be compensated for it.
Clear path from Video Editor ? Creative Lead as we scale.
Paid monthly via EasyPay or PayPal.

THE DETAILS:
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
Flexible schedule — but minimum 3-4 hours daily overlap with Central European Time (CET).
Long-term position — we're building a team, not hiring for a project.
You'll work directly with the CEO. No layers. No bureaucracy. Direct feedback, fast decisions.
Remote — work from anywhere in the Philippines.
