About Us:
We help wedding filmmakers create better wedding films and grow the business side of their business.
We’re a lean, 7-figure online coaching company. You’ll work directly with our content team.
Role Overview:
Your mission is to turn raw uncut wedding behind-the scenes footage into polished, engaging YouTube videos and short-form content that grows our audience and makes the founder look great on camera.
You'll take footage, notes, and a style guide, and deliver clean edits on time, every time, without needing to be chased or reminded.
You will mainly be editing videos like on this channel:
One long video like this = one project.
This consists of 15-20 shorter scenes/videos that you will edit separately.
Responsibilities:
- Edit long-form YouTube videos (talking-head, teaching content, and behind-the-scenes wedding footage).
- Edit short-form vertical content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) repurposed from long-form.
- Add captions, b-roll, music, sound design, lower-thirds, and light motion graphics following our style guide.
- Sync audio and video from multiple angles and sources when needed. Do a clean first-pass quality check (spelling, audio glitches, crooked shots, wrong logo) before submitting.
- Hit agreed deadlines and communicate early if anything will be late. Take revision notes and turn them around within 24 hours without losing the original vision.
- Keep files, projects, and folders organized and named correctly.
Requirements:
- Strong portfolio of YouTube and/or short-form content edits.
- Excellent editing skills in Premiere Pro.
- Great eye for pacing, hooks, retention, and clean, modern style.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Reliable, fast turnaround time, fast internet capable of downloading and uploading large video files.
- Comfortable following a style guide and strict file-naming and folder systems.
- Able to handle roughly one project per week and communicate consistently.
- Able to start ASAP.
Nice to Have (not required)
Experience with: wedding or event content, YouTube growth, motion graphics, AI tools, AI filmmaking, thumbnail design, After Effects, Canva or Photoshop, working with a content team or pipeline.
Do not apply if:
- You are an agency or plan to subcontract work to someone else.
- You can't reliably commit to a consistent flow of projects.
- You dislike following a style guide, checklists, or a set process.
- You are looking for a one-time gig (this is an ongoing, long-term role).
Compensation & Growth:
- The average project pays around $300 to $500 USD and is expected to be completed within about one week.
- If you can deliver one project per week, that's roughly $1,200 to $2,000 USD per month of ongoing work.
- Top performers earn more over time as they take on more volume and more responsibility.
- Consistent, reliable editors get first pick of projects and long-term steady work.
