JOB OVERVIEW

RealVideo.pro
Ongoing Weekly Work | Systems-Based Video Editing

Before applying, please watch this sample so you know exactly what we produce:
----------

Read this before anything else.

This role has two non-negotiable requirements. If either is a problem, this isn’t the right fit — and that’s okay.

1. 24-hour turnaround. Every time.
When we send you a file, your completed first draft is due within 24 hours. Not “usually.” Not “when possible.” Every single time. This is what our clients are paying for, and it’s the foundation of how we operate.

2. Fast, proactive communication.
If we message you, we expect a reply within a reasonable timeframe. If something comes up, you communicate before it becomes a problem. We don’t chase editors for updates. If we have to, it’s already a problem.

If those two things work for you, keep reading.

What the work involves
* 7–15 minute talking-head YouTube videos (most average 7–9 minutes)
* Clean cuts, strong pacing, filler word removal
* Basic audio cleanup and color correction
* Light B-roll when it supports the message
* Clean lower thirds and simple on-screen text

No heavy motion graphics. No flashy transitions. No overproduction.
The goal is clarity, professionalism, and audience retention.

Workflow
* You’ll receive raw footage with clear instructions
* First draft due within 24 hours of receiving files
* Check for new work at least twice per day (Google Drive, email, WhatsApp)
* Submit a brief availability update every Sunday

Tools required
Google Drive, Gmail, WhatsApp, Wise (for payment)

Compensation
* $25 CAD flat rate per completed video
* Paid twice monthly (1st and 15th) via Wise
* Steady, predictable work

This is a strong fit if you:
* Thrive inside structured systems
* Follow style guidelines closely
* Communicate clearly and proactively
* Hit deadlines without being reminded
* Want steady, long-term weekly work

This is not a fit if you:
* Need creative freedom
* Struggle with strict deadlines
* Go quiet when things get busy

To apply:
Complete the application form here: ----------

Shortlisted candidates will be given a short test edit (~3 minutes finished length). You'll have 48 hours from receiving the footage to deliver your first draft. How you communicate during that process matters just as much as the edit itself.

Our required turnaround once you're onboarded is 24 hours.
