We are looking for a full-time editor with a proven track record editing long-form lifestyle YouTube videos in the travel/van life/adventure space.

Your editing style should match the quality and feel of channels like Trent the Traveler. If you are not familiar with Trent the Traveler's videos, go watch several of his videos on YouTube before applying. That is the editing style, pacing, and storytelling quality we expect.

You must be fluent in English. You will be editing dialogue-driven storytelling content, so you need to understand every word being said in order to nail the pacing, cuts, and emotional beats.

If you do not have experience editing this style of content or are not fluent in spoken and written English, please do not apply.

ABOUT US:
We are full-time content creators with over 800,000 subscribers and followers across multiple platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok). Our primary YouTube channel produces long-form lifestyle travel and van life content (20–45 minutes per video). We need an editor who understands this genre inside and out — the pacing, the storytelling, the emotional beats, and the way these videos hold viewers from the first second to the last.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
You'll work with both edited and raw footage to produce finished videos that are engaging, professional, and tell a compelling story. This includes long-form YouTube videos (20–45 min) and short-form content (Shorts, Reels, TikTok under 60 sec).

You must be proficient in trimming, cutting, and arranging footage into cohesive narratives; adding transitions, music, sound effects, and visual effects; color correction and grading; text overlays, captions, and graphics; pacing and structure for both long-form and short-form content; and adapting editing style to match platform requirements (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok).

We need someone who is fast, reliable, has a natural storytelling instinct, and is passionate about creating content that pulls viewers in from the first second and keeps them watching.

COMPENSATION:
$5 – $8 per hour depending on experience, ~40 hours per week.
