JOB OVERVIEW

Job Title: AI Video Editor for Medical Social Media Content and Avatar Videos

Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled video editor who understands how to produce high performing short form social media content using AI tools. This role goes beyond basic editing. You must be able to take a script, turn it into a structured video, generate avatar scenes using HeyGen, create supporting visuals using AI video tools, and assemble everything into a polished final product.

This is not a beginner role. You should already be comfortable working with AI video tools, fast paced content production, and direct response style editing.

What You Will Be Doing

You will be responsible for the full video production workflow:

Script to Scene Breakdown
Take a rawscript and break it into logical scenes based on pacing, message, and attention flow
Avatar Video Creation
Use HeyGen to generate talking head avatar videos
Ensure proper framing mid torso with natural gestures
Sync tone, pacing, and delivery with the script
AI Visual Generation
Use AI tools such as Higgsfield, Runway, Pika, or similar to create supporting visuals and B roll
Match visuals to the message in each scene
Avoid generic stock style visuals
Video Editing
Combine avatar footage with AI generated visuals
Add clean transitions, motion, and timing for high retention
Place subtitles correctly under the chin area
Use bold, clear, social media optimized styling
Final Output
Deliver short form videos optimized for Instagram, Facebook, and ads
Ensure videos are engaging within the first 3 seconds
Maintain a professional medical brand tone

Requirements

You must have experience in ALL of the following:
HeyGen avatar video creation
AI video generation tools for B roll and scenes
Short form content editing for social media
Understanding of pacing, hooks, and retention
Subtitle styling and placement for engagement
Ability to interpret scripts and build visuals around them

Preferred Experience
Experience creating content for medical, wellness, or health brands
Familiarity with direct response or educational marketing content
Understanding of compliance friendly messaging in health content
Experience with tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut
What We Are NOT Looking For
Basic editors who only cut clips together
People who rely entirely on templates
Anyone without AI video tool experience
Anyone who needs step by step instruction for every task
How to Apply

To be considered, you must submit:

2 to 5 examples of videos you created using AI tools
At least 1 example using an avatar video
A short explanation of your workflow from script to final video
The tools you use regularly

Optional but preferred
Create a short sample based on this concept
A doctor explaining a health topic using avatar plus supporting visuals

Compensation
