We're hiring a video editor to work on long-form YouTube content, short-form clips, and paid social ads. The scope of work depends on your experience across each format - strong candidates may take on all three, others may focus on one or two.
This can start as project-based work and move to full-time for the right person.
What the work involves
Long-form YouTube videos (typically 15 to 45 minutes), short-form cuts for Instagram and TikTok, and video ads. You'll need to understand pacing and retention - not just technical editing. The difference between a video that keeps people watching and one that loses them at the 90-second mark is almost always an editing decision.
What we're looking for
You should have a working understanding of YouTube as a platform, not just as a place to upload files. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro is required. After Effects and motion graphics skills are important - we use animation to reinforce key points and expect editors to bring that capability without being directed on every detail. The ability to manage multiple projects without needing to be chased. Strong enough English to communicate clearly and flag problems early.

Send us your two best videos. At least one must be long-form. We'll only watch the first 30 seconds of each, so lead with your best work - the hook, the pacing, the first impression.
