About Us

Blunt Cases is a confidence-driven phone case brand based in the US. We create bold, empowering designs that feel like you.

We’re performance-first. Our ads need to stop the scroll, drive clicks, and convert.

The Role

We’re looking for a Performance Video Editor who knows how to make ads that SELL — not just look pretty.

You’ll take UGC, product clips, hooks, trends, and raw assets and turn them into high-converting TikTok, Instagram, and Meta ad creatives.

This is not cinematic editing.
This is fast, punchy, scroll-stopping, conversion-focused content.

What You’ll Do

Edit short-form performance ads (15–45 seconds)

Create multiple hook variations for testing

Add captions, dynamic text, pattern interrupts, and fast cuts

Repurpose top-performing creatives into new variations

Turn static designs into motion-based ad creatives

Follow creative briefs + performance feedback

Optimize based on metrics (CTR, hook rate, hold rate, CVR)

What We’re Looking For

You:

Understand TikTok-style pacing

Know what makes a strong 3-second hook

Have experience editing DTC / ecommerce ads

Think in terms of A/B testing, not “one perfect video”

Can move fast and iterate quickly

Are plugged into trends but understand direct response

Bonus if you:

Have worked with female-focused brands

Understand Gen Z culture

Can suggest hooks, angles, or script improvements

Have experience pulling performance insights into creative revisions

Tools

CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar

Comfortable working from shared folders / organized asset systems

Basic understanding of ad platforms is a plus

To Apply:

Title your application VE

Portfolio (especially paid ad creatives)

3 examples of performance ads you’ve edited

A short explanation of why you think those ads worked

Your favorite Blunt Case
