Video Editor – High-Volume Comparison Videos (Client Work | Part-Time ? Full-Time)
Our client is looking for a reliable video editor to support ongoing client comparison video production. This role involves structured, repeatable editing tasks — not creative or cinematic editing.
Responsibilities (repeatable workflow):
Remove dead air / long pauses from talking-head videos
Place the talking head video centered on screen
Merge a walking character video with a looping background scene
Remove the background from the walking character (green screen or cut-out)
Create split-screen layouts when required
Assemble multi-layer video projects (background + character + talking head)
Adjust audio levels for clarity:
Reduce background noise
Balance volume levels
Light bass boost / voice enhancement for clear speech
Editing scope (important):
? No intro
? No outro
? No flying text
? No motion graphics
? No music
This is clean, consistent assembly, not creative editing
Background footage is looping
Only one voice track is used (spoken dialogue)
Software requirement:
Must be comfortable editing multi-layer video timelines
iMovie is not suitable for this workflow
Preferred tools: Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
Volume & workload:
High-volume output: 10–20 videos per day
Same format used repeatedly (fast once learned)
Clear reference examples and instructions provided
Position details:
Part-time to start, with opportunity to move to full-time
Long-term client work available
Paid test task required
Ideal candidate:
Fast and detail-oriented
Comfortable with repetitive, production-style editing
Follows instructions exactly
Experience with background removal and audio cleanup
Question:
What editing software do you use, and do you have experience working with multi-layer video projects (talking head + background + cut-out subject)?
