We’re looking for a scroll-stopping, soul-snatching short-form video editor who gets the assignment.

We don’t need someone who adds a few captions and calls it done. We need someone who can take a raw, messy video and turn it into something visually magnetic—something that hits emotionally and converts.

You’ll be editing for a brand that serves birthworkers—doulas, lactation consultants, and postpartum professionals—who are scaling their businesses and building legacies. This is impact work, not just “content.”

The Digital Doula is a marketing agency and coaching company helping birthworkers scale with strategy, automation, and storytelling. We move fast, serve hard, and we don’t do fluff.

Who You Are:
You’re a creative powerhouse with strong attention to detail, fast turnaround times, and the ability to edit content that connects. You’re obsessed with clean visuals, strong hooks, intentional pacing, and content that doesn’t just fill space—but moves people to action.

You Should Be Able To:
• Edit 5–10 short-form videos per week (Reels, TikToks, YT Shorts, etc.)
• Add captions, motion, music, transitions, and B-roll without being asked
• Stay aligned with a brand’s aesthetic (colors, tone, and vibe)
• Pull key ---------- nts from long-form content without a play-by-play script
• Deliver consistent, on-brand edits in 48–72 hours (or faster)
• Handle feedback without ego—we move quickly and iterate often

Tools You’re Fluent In (or similar):
• Adobe Premiere / Final Cut / CapCut Pro
• Canva for branded graphic elements
• Google Drive / Dropbox for file sharing
• Slack for quick check-ins and team comms

Bonus Points If You:
• Have worked with women-led or mission-driven brands
• Understand storytelling for service-based businesses
• Can adapt content for multiple platforms (IG, TikTok, YouTube)

• You need step-by-step hand-holding
• You ghost after one round of edits
• You’re afraid of feedback or fast-paced creative environments
• You can’t deliver high-quality edits fast
