JOB OVERVIEW

Video Editor for AI Podcast & Video Content

I am looking for a video editor to assist with finishing podcast and video episodes that I produce using AI video platforms.

I currently use HeyGen and already have an active paid account and credits, but I am also open to learning and using other AI video and editing platforms if they can improve the production process.

I write and develop my own scripts and create the main AI avatar/video content myself. I am not looking for someone to write my scripts or produce the entire program from scratch.

The editor’s main responsibility will be to take the video I have already created and add the supporting visual elements needed to complete the episode.

This may include:

Adding images or short video clips at specific points.
Adding Bible verses, scriptures, text, or simple graphics on screen.
Changing or improving backgrounds in certain sections.
Adding scenes or visuals that relate to what I am discussing.
Creating simple AI-generated images when needed.
Using images or video clips that I provide.
Making basic cuts, trims, and adjustments.
Placing inserts in the correct sections according to the script.
Helping prepare the final video for publishing.

The editing is generally straightforward and does not require complicated special effects or heavy cinematic production.

I need someone who can follow a script, understand the subject being discussed, and recognize where an image, scripture, background, clip, or other visual insert would improve the presentation.

Experience with HeyGen or other AI video-generation platforms is helpful. Experience with editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar programs is also welcome.

I am also interested in someone who is comfortable learning new AI tools and, where appropriate, can show me better or more efficient ways of producing this type of content.

The candidate should be reliable, able to follow instructions, and comfortable communicating through WhatsApp or in person.

This is project-based work with the possibility of ongoing assignments as more podcast and video episodes are produced.
