We're hiring a Video Creator to build short-form, direct-response video ads for Instagram,
This is not an on-camera role. You will not be the face of the brand. Your role is to research competition, create marketing hooks that you believe will drive sales, then turn approved hooks into video ads for us to test.
Product: A dog supplement focused on cognitive health, dementia, and longevity.
Your job would be to:
- Research competitors and current winning ads in the dog health category
- Develop and submit marketing hooks based on your research
- Use approved hooks to create direct-response video ads
- Source or create footage using UGC, stock, B-roll, product clips, voiceover, or AI tools
- Produce multiple variations per concept
- Deliver a minimum of 2 unique video ads per day
- Optimized for 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5
- Participate in weekly meetings with company owners to review hooks, ad ideas, and performance
Video formats and length:
- Short-form ads only
- Typical length: 10 to 60 seconds
- Focus on strong pacing, clear storytelling, and fast execution
This is a high-volume role, not long-form or cinematic production
Requirements:
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong direct-response marketing background
- Strong short-form video editing skills
- Clear understanding of pacing, hooks, and attention control
- Ability to produce consistent daily videos
- Experience using AI tools for video or voice is acceptable and encouraged, but not required
IMPORTANT: Please answer all of the following. Applications that do not meet these requirements will not be reviewed:
1. What AI video or voice tools are you currently using in your workflow, and how do you use them? Be specific.
2. Submit examples of video ads you personally created. These must be ads, not general or organic content.
3. Share a link to a short-form video ad, under 60 seconds, that you believe is a strong direct-response ad. Explain why you think it converts viewers to buyers.
This can be a fun, long-term job for someone who understands how successful ads are built, tested, and scaled.
