JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a high-level Video Editor to help us turn raw footage from our high-energy women’s fitness classes into viral-ready short-form content for:

Facebook Reels
Instagram Reels
YouTube Shorts
TikTok

This is a fast-paced, high-volume editing role where speed, creativity, organization, and content instinct matter.

You will be working with:

Multiple camera angles (typically 4 cameras per class)
High-energy group fitness footage
Large-scale weekly content production

???? WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Each week you will:

Download raw footage from Dropbox
Import footage into editing software (preferably Final Cut Pro)
Download and synchronize high-quality MP3 audio with the raw video
Sync external audio to video for cleaner sound quality
Create multiple short-form clips from each song
Identify viral-ready ---------- nts:
High energy
Dancing
Twerking
Smiling
Synchronization
Crowd reactions
Strong beat drops
Export and organize clips correctly
Upload finished edits back into Dropbox folders

???? CONTENT VOLUME EXPECTATION

Per class session:

5–10 songs
1–4 camera angles (typically 4)
5–15+ clips per song

Average output:

50–150+ short-form videos per class session

? TURNAROUND EXPECTATION (VERY IMPORTANT)

Footage is usually uploaded:

Friday night
OR
Saturday morning

Editors are expected to:

Begin editing immediately
Have the majority of edits completed within:
48–72 hours maximum

Fast turnaround is critical because:

Fresh content performs better
Viral ---------- ntum matters
We post content at high volume daily

????? EDITING PROCESS

Editors will:

Import raw MP4 footage into Final Cut Pro
Download MP3 audio from YouTube
Synchronize MP3 audio with video
Crop and center footage correctly
Brighten/color-correct footage if needed
Create multiple short-form variations from each song
Export clips using our naming system
Upload organized files back into Dropbox

MUST UNDERSTAND:
Multi-camera workflows
Audio synchronization
Short-form content editing
