Virtual Insurance Assistant

Position Overview
We are a growing independent insurance agency seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Virtual Insurance Assistant to serve as the face of our agency. This remote position is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. You will be the primary point of contact for our clients and prospects, handling everything from inbound calls to policy servicing, quoting, and pipeline management.
Compensation & Benefits
• Starting pay: $600 USD per month

Key Responsibilities
Client Services & Communication
• Answer and manage inbound client and prospect phone calls professionally
• Serve as the primary point of contact and face of the agency for all client interactions
• Service existing personal and commercial lines policyholders with professionalism and accuracy
• Work directly with mortgagees and lienholders to fulfill insurance verification requests
Quoting & Sales Support
• Quote personal and commercial lines for both existing clients and new prospects
• Utilize PL Rater and EzLynx to generate competitive quotes accurately and efficiently
• Follow up on quotes and assist prospects through the application and binding process
Agency Management & CRM
• Manage and maintain the agency management system (
• Utilize the agency CRM to log service requests, manage client communications, and track follow-ups
• Manage renewal pipelines for personal and commercial lines customers to ensure timely policy reviews
• Complete and process ACORD forms including ACORD 25, 125, 126, and 140 accurately and on time
Organization & Productivity
• Multitask effectively across phone calls,
• Prioritize workload to ensure all service requests and deadlines are met
• Maintain organized workflows and documentation standards within all agency systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Prior experience in insurance or a related financial services field strongly preferred
• Familiarity with personal and commercial lines insurance products
• Experience with PL Rater, EzLynx, or
• Strong knowledge of ACORD forms (25, 125, 126, 140)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficient with CRM platforms and pipeline management
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Reliable high-speed internet connection and a professional, distraction-free work environment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
