We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to support our team in assisting U.S. Veterans with the preparation and processing of their VA disability claims.
The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine sense of empathy and respect for Veterans. Responsibilities
Assist in gathering, organizing, reviewing, and tracking documentation needed for VA disability claims.
Draft, edit, and format personal statements, buddy letters, medical evidence summaries, and other claim-related documents.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files, records, notes, and claim progress.
Communicate professionally with Veterans through
Perform data entry, scheduling, follow-ups, document management, and other administrative duties.
Follow established company procedures and workflows accurately and consistently.
Coordinate with coaches and team members to ensure Veterans' cases are properly tracked and handled in a timely manner.
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling Veterans' personal, medical, and claim-related information.
Requirements
Previous experience with VA disability claims processing, medical administration, legal administration, or similar support work is strongly preferred.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow established procedures and learn new processes quickly.
Ability to work independently while remaining responsive and accountable to the team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
Reliable computer equipment and a stable internet connection.
Empathy, patience, professionalism, and a commitment to serving U.S. Veterans.
Ability to work night shifts aligned with U.S. time zones as required.
Must be available to work 8 hours per day / 40 hours per week.
Full-Time Commitment
This is a full-time and long-term position.
We are looking for Virtual Assistants who can fully commit their professional working hours to our company. Candidates who currently have another full-time or part-time job, regular freelance employment, or another ongoing work commitment that conflicts with this position will not be considered.
We respect our team's time and commitment, and we expect the same level of commitment in return. Outside personal activities are respected, but they must not interfere with scheduled working hours, attendance, responsiveness, productivity, or job performance.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with VA forms such as VA Form 21-526EZ, 21-4138, 21-2680, and other commonly used VA forms.
Previous experience assisting with U.S. Veterans' disability claims.
Experience drafting personal statements, buddy statements, summaries, or medical support documents.
Background in administration, customer service, medical support, legal support, or claims processing.
Experience using CRM or client-management systems is an advantage.
Comfortable learning new software, workflows, and company procedures.
Work Schedule
8 hours per day
40 hours per week
Monday–Friday
Night shift / U.S. business hours
Must be flexible enough to support operations across multiple U.S. time zones when necessary.
