WE’RE HIRING – BEAUTY BUSINESS – SOCIAL MEDIA & MARKETING MANAGER
Remote | Supporting an Australian Beauty Business

Relassh Beauty Studio is an established Australian beauty business specialising in lashes, brows and cosmetic teeth whitening, expanding into beauty education and digital products.

We’re looking for an experienced, creative and proactive Social Media & Marketing Manager who understands the beauty industry and can turn business goals into strong marketing.

You’ll work directly with our founder, Bek, to strengthen our brand, create compelling content and generate suitable enquiries and bookings.

We need someone who brings ideas, explains their recommendations and manages the work through to completion.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Marketing Strategy & Campaigns

• Developing marketing plans around service bookings, client retention, education and launches
• Understanding our audiences and tailoring messages to their needs
• Planning campaigns, promotions and customer journeys
• Supporting email marketing, lead magnets and webinar promotion
• Recommending improvements based on evidence and business priorities

Social Media Management

• Managing Instagram and Facebook, with content adapted for TikTok
• Owning the content calendar, hooks, captions, Stories plans and filming briefs
• Creating, editing, scheduling and publishing approved content
• Managing routine comments and community engagement
• Coordinating with our assistant on enquiries and lead follow-ups
• Tracking results and proposing useful next steps

Branding & Creative Direction

• Auditing our profile, highlights, pinned posts and older content
• Developing a recognisable visual direction that retains Bek’s personality
• Designing highlight covers, branded graphics, carousels and reusable templates
• Creating polished guides, presentations and marketing resources
• Enhancing photos and videos while preserving accurate treatment results
• Maintaining consistent branding across social media, website assets and digital products

Video Editing & Paid Advertising

• Editing engaging Reels, promotional videos, webinars and Meta ad creatives
• Using strong openings, purposeful pacing, readable captions and suitable sound
• Developing campaign-specific scripts, hooks and creative variations
• Planning Meta campaigns around agreed audiences, offers, budgets and booking goals
• Setting up, monitoring and optimising campaigns within approved authority
• Reporting on enquiries, bookings and costs where measurable

Website & Education Marketing

• Supporting website messaging, visual direction and booking journeys
• Creating landing-page copy and creative assets
• Supporting course, webinar and digital product launches
• Coordinating implementation with our assistant or technical specialists
• Testing marketing links, forms and campaign destinations

INITIAL FOCUS:

Strengthening Relassh’s Instagram presentation and highlights, developing whitening campaigns, supporting website completion and preparing marketing for a new team member’s services.

Priorities and deliverables will be agreed around available hours. This role requires both creative execution and strategic thinking.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Demonstrated experience creating content or managing marketing for beauty businesses
• A strong portfolio showing relevant beauty work and your personal contribution
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong visual judgement, Canva skills and video-editing ability
• Confidence writing engaging hooks, captions and calls to action
• Experience planning, managing and reporting on Meta campaigns
• Understanding of the difference between marketing local appointments and education offers
• Initiative, clear communication and reliable turnaround
• Ability to take feedback while offering a professional point of view
• Confidence organising approvals, assets and deadlines

Beauty industry experience is required. Relevant work may include salons, lashes, brows, skincare, cosmetic teeth whitening or beauty education.

Website building, photo retouching and email-automation skills are highly regarded. Please distinguish work you can complete independently from work requiring specialist support.

6. Your strongest platforms and skills, plus any areas requiring training or specialist support.

7. Your weekly availability, working hours and timezone, earliest start date and expected hourly rate/currency. Please confirm your availability to overlap with Brisbane business hours.

8. A 60–90 second introduction video. A simple phone recording is fine.
