JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Bookkeeper / Accountant with strong experience in QuickBooks, Buildium, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and real estate/property management accounting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing financial records independently in a remote environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting support
- Accounts payable/receivable management
- Bank and ledger reconciliations
- Financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Journal entries and general ledger maintenance
- Budget monitoring and audit support
- Coordination with banks and financial institutions
- Compliance with accounting standards (GAAP preferred)
REQUIRED SKILLS:
> Strong QuickBooks Online/Desktop proficiency
> Buildium or property management accounting software experience
> Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
> Strong financial analysis and reporting ability
> Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
> Ability to work independently in a remote setup
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
> Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
> CPA certification (preferred but not required)
> 3–5 years accounting experience (real estate/property management preferred)
> Experience with AppFolio, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Dropbox
> Strong Experienced in QuickBooks
COMPENSATION & WORK SETUP:
> Starting at $7.00/hour (USD)
> Weekly payment via Wise or Wise-to-Bank
> Part-time (20 hrs/week) with potential full-time hours
> US Central Time availability preferred
> Remote work with reliable internet, equipment, and backup connection
> Time tracking via Hub staff
