About the Studio
We are a small indie studio creating a new multiplayer shooter. Our team is hands on, collaborative, and focused on building a fun, competitive, and technically solid multiplayer experience. Everyone on the team has a direct impact on the game.
The Role
We are looking for a Unity developer with strong multiplayer experience to help build core systems for our FPS. You will work closely with designers and engineers to implement gameplay features, networking systems, and performance critical improvements while keeping the codebase clean and scalable.
Required Skills
- Experience with Unity 6 or newer
- Strong C# proficiency
- Experience with Netcode for GameObjects or multiplayer networking
- Solid understanding of client server architecture
- Experience implementing player movement and shooting mechanics
- Familiarity with Addressables and asset management
- Must be able to speak and write English clearly
Nice to Have
- Agones server experience
- Dedicated server deployment on Linux
- Anti cheat implementation experience
- Multiplayer performance optimisation
- Shader and VFX experience using URP
- Experience using Git version control
Responsibilities
- Implement gameplay features such as weapons, abilities, and turrets
- Optimise client and server performance
- Build matchmaking and lobby systems
- Implement UI and UX systems based on designer provided layouts
- Write clean, maintainable, and well documented code
- Collaborate closely with a small indie team
