Location: Philippines (Remote)
Schedule: Full-time, aligned with US business hours (overlap required)
Start: ASAP
Role Type: High-impact individual contributor with ownership (you’ll effectively “manage” automations end-to-end)
About the Role
We’re hiring a Philippines-based UiPath RPA Automation Engineer whose entire job is to build and own UiPath automations that connect workflows across EMRs and post-acute healthcare operations (home health, hospice, SNF/post-acute).
This is a high-impact role: the automations you ship will directly remove manual work and save our end users hours per day. We need someone who is excellent at RPA in UiPath, highly responsive during US hours, and able to move quickly from “here’s the workflow” ? “it’s automated and reliable.”
Healthcare or health data experience is a plus, but the #1 priority is proven UiPath RPA capability.
What You’ll Do
• Build UiPath automations that pull records and move data between systems (including EMRs and related portals/tools)
• Automate repetitive post-acute workflows to reduce manual steps and improve speed/accuracy
• Own automations end-to-end: requirements, build, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration
• Implement strong error handling, logging, retries, and exception paths for production stability
• Maintain and improve existing bots as workflows evolve
• Document each automation clearly so it’s easy to maintain and scale
• Work closely with the team during US hours with fast feedback loops (Slack/Zoom)
Required Qualifications (Must Have)
• Strong, hands-on RPA delivery experience
• UiPath experience (required) — building real automations in production (Studio and ideally Orchestrator)
• Proven ability to build reliable, maintainable bots (selectors, exceptions, retries, logging)
• Experience with web/desktop automation and data extraction (“pulling records”)
• Highly responsive communicator with consistent availability during US business hours
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and ship quickly
Nice-to-Have (Plus)
• Any experience working with healthcare systems, EMRs, or health data (HIPAA awareness is a bonus)
• Familiarity with post-acute workflows (home health / hospice / SNF) is a plus
• Experience with UiPath Orchestrator: queues, assets, schedules, alerts
• Basic API knowledge / JSON / SQL for validation or integrations (even if the job is primarily low-code)
Why This Role Matters
• Your automations will be used daily and will directly save clinicians and ops teams hours of time per day
• You’ll have clear ownership and autonomy—this is not “small tasks,” it’s building core workflow automations
• You’ll be shipping high-leverage work that materially improves customer experience and efficiency
