JOB OVERVIEW

This position is for someone that is looking to settle into a long-term career with a full service CPA firm. Our firm is growing and we are looking for the right individual to grow with us. We specialize in providing personalized accounting and tax services to small and medium sized business. We are looking for someone that has the capacity to wear multiple hats and can grow with the company for the long term!

Requirements:
- Accounting background with (Bachelor degree in accounting or equivalent experience) required
- Positive attitude, with a great self learning skill, dedicated and hard working mindset.
- Outstanding work ethic, enthusiastic, hard working, and ability to take new tasks
- EXCELLENT communication skills & follow up skills REQUIRED
- Attention to detail
- Work dependent, rather than time dependent
- Ability to handle multiple projects
- Team player and ability to work independently
- Familiarity in QuickBooks, and other accounting softwares (preferred, not required)
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel & Outlook

Job Responsibilities:
- Business & individual tax return preparation, preferably usingUltraTax Software
- Communication with clients regarding paperwork and outstanding items
- Communication with regulatory (IRS, FTB, etc.) agencies
