Employment Type Full-time, long-term, work-from-home — directly with a US eye care practice

Your Base Pay USD $500 – $1,000 per month, based on your experience, paid every two weeks

Your Bonus 1% to 5% of the insurance money you actually collect, paid monthly. Top collectors can double their base pay.

13th Month Pay Yes — one extra month of your base pay, every year

Your Hours 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, weekends off. You start on an 8-hour shift within 9 AM – 6 PM US Eastern Time.
Flexible Schedule After 90 days of meeting your goals, you can split your day: at least 4 hours in US time and 4 hours in your own Philippine daytime.

Who We Are
Healthy Vision Institute is a growing eye care practice with three offices in Tampa Bay, Florida — St. Petersburg, Clearwater, and New Port Richey. We treat cataracts, glaucoma, retina disease, and everyday eye needs. We are building a strong remote team, and we want you on it.
What You Will Do
Part 1 — Be the voice of our clinic
• Answer patient calls with a warm, clear, professional voice
• Make recall calls and schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments in Nextech
• Verify insurance before visits and help patients understand their balances

Part 2 — Bring in the money we are owed
• Work insurance AR by aging, oldest and largest first
• Follow up with Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial payers by phone and portal
• Read EOBs and ERAs, research denials (CARC/RARC), fix and resubmit claims, and write appeals on time
• Use AI tools to work faster, and read AR aging and denial reports to know what to chase first
• Send a short end-of-day report on what you worked and collected (Claude can help you write it)

What You Bring
• Experience: 3+ years of US medical billing or AR follow-up, with ophthalmology or eye care experience.
• Codes: You know eye care codes — exams (92002–92014), E/M, OCT imaging (92134), cataract surgery (66984), injections (67028), drug J-codes, and modifiers.
• Nextech: Hands-on experience in Nextech Practice Management.
• English: Excellent spoken English and a clear, pleasant phone voice.
• AI: You already use Claude, ChatGPT, or other AI tools in your work.
• Setup: Reliable internet with backup, backup power, a quiet space, a good computer, and a noise-canceling headset.

Show Us Your Work

• Which insurance companies you collected from
• What type of healthcare (eye care, retina, surgery, clinic) and which codes you worked
• Your results — how much you collected, how fast, and how you cut denials
• Your process from denial to payment, step by step
• A sample appeal letter you wrote
Important: remove ALL patient names, dates of birth, member IDs, and account numbers from any sample. Never send real patient information. Respecting privacy is part of the job.
