I have an Astro website with a codebase that has become messy and bloated because of AI. I am looking for a developer who actually understands CSS and the cascading impact of "I'll just clean it up later" AI copy-paste code.
I say this as the one who copy-pasted code and got too busy to go back and clean up.
The Task:
You will go through the site section-by-section to fix UI/UX inconsistencies and improve the user experience
Your first project is to refactor the Home Page CSS to make it consistent across mobile and desktop.
You will be given access to a Github repository where you can make pull requests.
Requirements:
- In depth understanding of CSS and 2026 UI/UX trends
- Experience with Astro components.
- Able to clean up global CSS without breaking existing layouts.
To Apply:
- Tell me in one sentence one 2026 CSS UI/UX trend that you've noticed, liked, and how you applied it.
- Attach links to before and after css portfolios or general portfolio sites.
- Lastly strong preference for people who get the vibe of this post and respond accordingly.
Successful candidates will be moved on to a paid test task
