UI/UX Designer for Web & Mobile Application

Contract UI/UX Designer

Project Overview:
Individual author seeking UI/UX designer for ongoing contract work to create the complete design for a new web and mobile application. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the entire visual identity and user experience from scratch.

Contract Details:
Looking for a dedicated contractor to handle all design work on retainer basis. Approximately 20-30 hours per week needed to meet project milestones. You control your schedule as long as deliverables are met on time. Weekly design review meetings required. Long-term contract opportunity with consistent monthly retainer.

Design Deliverables:
- Complete user interface for web application (all responsive views)
- Mobile app designs for iOS and Android
- User flows and wireframes
- Clickable prototypes for testing
- Design system (colors, fonts, buttons, forms, components)
- All screens including onboarding, main features, settings, error states
- Design documentation and specifications
- Assets exported for development

Project Requirements:
- Strong portfolio showing web AND mobile app designs
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred), Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Understanding of iOS and Android design guidelines
- Experience creating responsive designs
- Must provide source files in organized format
- English communication skills
- Available for weekly video meetings
- Able to explain design decisions clearly

Working Arrangement:
- Invoice monthly for agreed retainer
- You manage your own schedule and workflow
- Deliver milestones by agreed deadlines
- Weekly video call for design reviews
- 2-3 month initial project timeline
- Potential for ongoing work after launch

Contractor Responsibilities:
- Use your own computer and software
- Maintain your own design tool licenses
- Manage your time to meet deadlines
- Handle your own taxes and benefits
- Maintain professional liability

Legal Terms:
- Independent contractor agreement required
- Must sign NDA before project details shared
- Work-for-hire agreement (all designs become my property)
- Cannot reuse designs for other projects
- Portfolio use only with written permission
