JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented writers to join our growing newsroom. This role focuses on trending topics, entertainment news, viral stories, and major world events. The role will also involve sharing selected articles on Reddit while following Reddit’s rules and community guidelines.

Work Schedule

9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Philippine time)
Monday to Friday**

Key Responsibilities

* Write 4 original news articles per day
* Cover trending topics, entertainment updates, viral content, and major world news
* Research stories using credible and verified sources
* Fact-check all information before submission
* Write clear, engaging, and well-structured articles
* Create strong, SEO-friendly headlines
* Share relevant articles on Reddit and other social platforms when required
* Follow Reddit community rules and avoid spammy posting
* Follow editorial guidelines and meet daily deadlines

Requirements

* At least 2 years of experience in news writing, journalism, blogging, or online publishing
* Strong English writing and grammar skills
* Ability to quickly identify trending topics and interesting angles
* Skilled in researching and verifying information from reliable sources
* Comfortable covering entertainment, pop culture, and global current events
* Experience using Reddit and understanding how Reddit communities work
* Able to follow subreddit rules and post content appropriately
* Comfortable sharing news articles on relevant Reddit communities without spamming
* A Reddit account with posting experience is preferred
* Able to work independently and manage daily output
* Experience with online publishing platforms is a plus
