JOB OVERVIEW

**Trend Hunter for 1.8M Subscriber Channel**

We run a large YouTube channel (1.8M+ subscribers) focused on men’s self-improvement, looksmaxxing, fitness, culture, and modern masculinity.
We’re hiring a "Trend Hunter" whose sole job is to find the most viral, controversial, and discussion-worthy content on the internet for us to react to and film about.

If you live online and are always 2–3 days ahead of what everyone else is talking about, this is for you.

Your job:

Your primary responsibility is simple:

Find the 3 most viral/controversial stories or posts every day (or several times per week) in:

* Looksmaxxing
* Fitness/aesthetics
* Dating/manosphere culture
* Male self-improvement
* Internet masculinity discourse

These will be used as source material for YouTube videos and reactions.

What you’ll be doing:

* Scanning Twitter/X, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and forums daily
* Identifying viral or emerging debates before they go mainstream
* Sending curated story briefs with links, screenshots, and context
* Flagging content with high reaction potential (controversial, funny, insane, insightful, etc.)
* Suggesting video angles/titles when obvious
* Staying deeply tapped into internet culture and male self-improvement spaces

You are perfect for this if you:

* Are extremely online (Twitter/X, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube daily)
* Naturally notice drama, trends, and viral discourse early
* Understand looksmaxxing/manosphere/fitness culture deeply
* Know what makes content go viral
* Have strong intuition for what would make a great reaction video
* Are organized and responsive
* Can send clean, concise daily/weekly reports

Bonus points:

* Experience working with creators or media brands
* Good sense of humor
* Understand YouTube titles/thumbnails
* Familiar with online male self-improvement communities
* Have predicted trends before they blew up

**1. Viral topic/story**

What’s happening: 5 of the biggest lookmaxxing and manosphere guys went to a club and a controversial song by Ye was played.
Why it’s blowing up: This caused a huge controversy and many big creators are reacting to it.
Why our audience will care: It is a very viral moment and many of the biggest characters in our niche are involved
