JOB OVERVIEW

REQUIRED - 1 to 2 minute Loom video recording of yourself - personal introduction and your relevant experience in Transcription. Please include your CV.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Transcriber to join our team.

Job Responsibilities:
Listen to audio and video recordings and transcribe them into accurate written documents.
Proofread and edit transcripts for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
Identify and correct inconsistencies or errors in speech-to-text drafts.
Insert timestamps and speaker labels according to specific company guidelines.
Research and verify technical terminology, proper names, and industry jargon.
Maintain strict confidentiality and security of all sensitive client information.
Report daily metrics such as audio minutes completed and average accuracy scores.

Requirements:
Previous experience in general, legal, or medical transcription is required.
Excellent listening skills and a high level of proficiency in English.
Strong typing speed (minimum 60-80 WPM) with a focus on precision.
Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
Familiarity with transcription software and digital playback tools is an advantage.
A positive attitude and the ability to maintain focus for long periods.
