Company: HITCON Philippines Technical Solutions Corporation Location: Remote / Hybrid (Philippines) Employment Type: Full-time Department: Training & Candidate Services
About Us
HITCON Philippines Technical Solutions Corporation is a Philippine company with Austrian leadership, specializing in technical training and skilled worker deployment. Through our Welding Division (partnered with CTCweld) and Meat Processing Division (partnered with Infinity Vocational Technical School Inc.), we prepare Filipino professionals for deployment to European industry partners — with training across multiple sites in the Philippines and language training through our partner Speexx.
Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated, people-oriented Trainee Support & Enrollment Specialist to join our team. This is a multi-faceted role — part customer service, part teaching assistant, part virtual assistant — all centered around one goal: keeping our trainees supported, committed, and on track from first inquiry through to deployment.
You will be the primary point of contact for aspiring trainees: explaining our programs, guiding them through enrollment, coordinating placements across training locations, and staying in touch with them throughout their training journey. You'll also assist instructors during sessions and handle general administrative tasks that keep the training operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Trainee Recruitment & Onboarding
Respond to inquiries from prospective trainees (phone, chat, email, social media)
Explain training programs clearly: welding (ISO 9606), meat processing, and other programs as they launch
Walk candidates through eligibility requirements, training schedules, costs, and career pathways
Enroll trainees into the appropriate training locations based on availability, region, and program
Coordinate language training enrollment (Speexx — German A2 and other languages) where applicable
Maintain accurate trainee records in the Hitcon Candidate Tracker system
Trainee Retention & Long-Term Support
Build relationships with trainees to keep them motivated and committed throughout the full training cycle
Conduct regular check-ins (weekly/bi-weekly) with active trainees to monitor progress and address concerns
Identify at-risk trainees early and coordinate support or intervention
Help trainees navigate challenges — scheduling conflicts, financial concerns, personal issues affecting attendance
Keep trainees engaged between training phases and during waiting periods (e.g., visa processing, deployment preparation)
Serve as the trainee's advocate within Hitcon — relaying feedback to instructors and leadership
Teaching Assistant Duties
Assist instructors during training sessions as needed (preparation, setup, logistics)
Help manage training materials, equipment lists, and classroom/facility readiness
Monitor attendance and participation, follow up on absences
Support practical assessment coordination and documentation
Step in to help with trainee questions outside of formal instruction time
Customer Service Representative
Handle trainee and partner inquiries professionally and promptly
Manage the training inbox and communication channels
Resolve scheduling conflicts, enrollment issues, and general complaints
Maintain a positive, supportive tone in all trainee communications
Liaise with training partners (Infinity VT School, CTCweld, Speexx) on enrollment and logistics
General Virtual Assistant Tasks
Data entry and record management in the Hitcon Candidate Tracker
Prepare training certificates, enrollment confirmations, and completion documents
Organize and maintain digital trainee files and documents
Schedule and coordinate training sessions across multiple locations
Assist leadership with reporting, trainee summaries, and operational updates
Support other Hitcon team members with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (any field) or equivalent experience
1–2 years of experience in customer service, training coordination, teaching assistance, or virtual assistant roles
Excellent Filipino and English communication skills (written and spoken)
Strong interpersonal skills — patient, empathetic, and genuinely enjoys helping people
Comfortable using digital tools: Google Workspace, messaging apps, CRM/database systems
Organized and detail-oriented with good time management
Willing to learn Hitcon's training programs in detail to explain them accurately
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in vocational training, education, or recruitment support
Familiarity with TESDA programs, training certification processes, or skilled trades
Background in teaching, tutoring, or coaching
Experience working with multiple training sites or coordinating across locations
Basic knowledge of European deployment processes (visa, work permit, language requirements)
Personal Qualities We're Looking For
People person — you genuinely care about others' success and can build trust naturally
Patient and persistent — trainees come from diverse backgrounds and need steady, consistent support
Adaptable — you'll wear multiple hats in a single day and shift between them smoothly
Proactive — you don't wait for problems to escalate; you check in before things go wrong
Cultural sensitivity — you'll work with Filipino trainees, European partners, and Austrian leadership
What We Offer
Competitive salary commensurate with experience
Flexible working arrangement (remote/hybrid)
Meaningful role — you directly help Filipinos build careers abroad
Direct collaboration with Austrian leadership and training partners
Professional growth as Hitcon's training programs expand
Opportunity to grow into a training operations or program management role
