We are a fast-growing real estate company based in Washington & Idaho focused on solving complex property situations. We specialize in helping families with inherited properties, tax issues, and title problems.
We are building a specialized research team to identify property owners, locate heirs, and help us solve difficult ownership situations.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented and investigative-minded Genealogist / Researcher to help us identify deceased property owners and locate their heirs.
This is NOT a simple data entry role.
This is a research and problem-solving role that requires curiosity, persistence, and critical thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research property owners to determine if they are deceased
- Build family trees and identify heirs (children, relatives, etc.)
- Locate contact information for heirs (phone numbers preferred)
- Use multiple tools and sources to verify relationships and ownership
- Document findings clearly in our CRM system
- Provide clean, organized notes on each case

What We’re Looking For:
Required Traits:
- English needs to be 8 out of 10 or higher
- Strong attention to detail
- Curious and investigative mindset
- Persistent (does not give up easily)
- Able to connect information from multiple sources
- Organized and disciplined with notes
Required Experience (in any of the categories):
- Genealogy / family tree research
- Online research or data investigation
- Skip tracing or lead generation
- Legal or public records research
What Success Looks Like:
- You can take a name and property and determine if the owner is deceased
- You can identify at least 1–2 potential heirs
- You can clearly explain how you found the information
- You consistently produce accurate, usable research
Compensation & Schedule:
- Full-time position (40 hours/week), overtime would be extremely rare but open to small off hours tasks if needed (very rare)

-8:30-5pm M-F Pacific Standard Time (we are in Idaho)
- $1200-$2500 a month depending on experience (we prefer more experience and higher pay)
