JOB OVERVIEW

I’m looking for a reliable editor to turn gaming footage into short vertical videos with interesting titles and publish them on agreed social accounts.

I will provide a ZIP file containing video clips, a tutorial showing the process, and finished examples. You will watch the supplied clips, choose good moments, and turn them into finished videos.

This is a small role paid per approved clip. It does not offer a full-time salary, guaranteed hours, or a guaranteed number of clips each month.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Download and watch the supplied footage.
- Choose funny, surprising, or interesting moments.
- Edit each moment into a short vertical video.
- Remove unnecessary pauses and make the moment easy to follow.
- Write a clear, attention-grabbing title that accurately matches the clip.
- Follow this layout: Grimm at the top, title across the middle, gameplay below.
- Use black title text on a white box, like the examples in the tutorial.
- Publish finished clips on the social accounts agreed with me.
- Include the game’s hashtag and #GrimmHollywood. You can add other relevant hashtags to help people find the clip.
- Save your published post links and log view counts in our private website.
- Use the website’s messaging system to ask questions and discuss your work.
Post no more than two clips per day. If posting two, post one in the morning and one in the evening, several hours apart, using Pacific time zone. Two clips is the daily maximum, not a requirement to post every day.

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR
- Experience editing short vertical videos.
- An understanding of gaming clips and what makes a moment interesting.
- The ability to write clear English titles.
- The ability to follow a tutorial and match supplied examples.
- Reliable communication and delivery by agreed deadlines.
You may use the editing software you prefer, provided you can produce the required result.

STEP 1 — APPLICATION SAMPLE

I will send you a sample ZIP, my tutorial, and finished examples.

Please create one or two finished sample clips, each with its own title.

One clip is enough to apply. A second clip is optional. Please do not make more than two.

For your application:
1. Watch the tutorial.
2. Download and unzip the sample footage.
3. Choose your moment or moments.
4. Edit the clip or clips using the example layout.
5. Write a title for each clip.
6. Export each finished clip as an MP4.
7. Send me a private download link that I can open.
Include a suggested posting caption for each clip, with the game’s hashtag and #GrimmHollywood. Other relevant hashtags are welcome.

The application samples are unpaid. They let me review your editing, titles, and ability to follow instructions. Completing them does not mean you have been hired or guarantee that you will be selected.

Do not publish the samples on social media. You will not need access to our website or social accounts during the application.

STEP 2 — PAID TRIAL

If your application samples are a good fit, I will invite you to a paid trial.

Before you start, we will agree on the trial length, workload, deadlines, payment terms, and bonus limits. You will receive the website and account access needed for the work.

During the trial, you will:
- Choose moments from the footage I provide.
- Edit clips and write titles using the tutorial and examples.
- Make changes based on my feedback.
- Publish approved clips on the agreed accounts.
- Save post links and log view counts in our website.
- Communicate clearly and meet agreed deadlines.
I will review your editing, titles, reliability, and ability to follow instructions. Trial work is paid under the agreed terms.

If we both want to continue, we will move into ongoing paid work. Completing the trial does not guarantee an ongoing position.

STEP 3 — ONGOING PAID WORK

If we both want to continue after the paid trial, you will handle the regular clipping and posting process: review footage, choose moments, edit clips, write titles, publish, and record post links and views.

I will continue providing footage and feedback. We will agree on your workload and deadlines, and you will use our private website to track your work and communicate with me.

The maximum remains two published clips per day, several hours apart.

This is ongoing work paid per clip. It does not guarantee full-time hours or a fixed number of clips each month.

PAYMENT FOR THE PAID TRIAL AND ONGOING WORK

All payments are in US dollars (USD), paid through PayPal. You must have a PayPal account that can receive payments.
- US$1 per approved clip.
- Posting the same edit on several agreed platforms earns one base editing fee, not a separate editing fee for each platform.
- US$0.05 per 1,000 eligible views during each post’s first 14 days.
- Views earned after that post’s 14-day window do not earn additional payment.
- Bonuses are capped. The exact per-clip and combined monthly bonus limits will be agreed in writing before paid work starts.
- Payment dates and responsibility for any PayPal fees will also be agreed before paid work starts.
- View bonuses are checked against recorded view counts and evidence before payment. The end of a post’s 14-day window is not automatically its payment date.
The unpaid application samples are separate from the paid trial and ongoing work.

REGULAR WORKLOAD, BASE PAY, AND VIEW BONUSES

I normally stream three times per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. You will create three finished clips from each stream, giving you approximately nine clips per week.

Base pay

You earn US$1 per approved clip, regardless of how many views it receives. Completing the regular workload gives you approximately US$36–45 per month in base pay.

Posting the same edit on several platforms earns one base editing fee. Additional clips requested and approved by me are paid at the same rate.

Extra money from views

On top of your base pay, you can earn a performance bonus of US$0.05 per 1,000 eligible views during each post’s first 14 days.

For example, before applying the combined monthly limit:
- 10,000 eligible views: US$0.50 bonus.
- 100,000 eligible views: US$5 bonus.
- 200,000 eligible views: US$10 bonus—the maximum bonus for one clip.
Eligible views from the agreed platform posts of the same clip count toward that clip’s bonus.

The bonus limits are:
- Up to US$10 per clip, across its agreed platform posts.
- Up to US$40 total in bonuses for all clips in one month, not US$40 for each clip.
With the regular workload, that means approximately US$36–45 in base pay, plus up to US$40 in view bonuses—a possible total of US$76–85 per month if the full monthly bonus is earned.

Bonuses depend on actual eligible views and are not guaranteed. Views after each post’s first 14 days do not earn additional payment. You will log post links and view counts in our website so I can check them before payment.

All payments are in USD through PayPal.

I will then send the sample ZIP, tutorial, examples, and submission deadline.

Remember: one application clip is enough. A second is optional. Application samples are unpaid.
