TikTok Shop Video Editor

Job Type: Part-Time / Freelance
Location: Remote
Initial Hours: Approximately 2-5 hours/week, with the opportunity to grow significantly

About the Role

I am looking for a reliable, creative TikTok Shop Video Editor to help me create short-form product videos for TikTok Shop.

I am actively growing my TikTok Shop business, so the workload will be very small to start, approximately 2 hours per week, but I expect the hours and responsibilities to increase as the business grows.

I am looking for someone who understands what performs well on TikTok, especially TikTok Shop content, rather than someone who only knows basic video editing.

This could become a long-term position with additional responsibilities and opportunities for the right person.

What You'll Be Doing
Edit short-form TikTok Shop product videos
Create engaging hooks and fast-paced edits designed to hold attention
Add captions, text overlays, transitions, zooms, sound effects, and other TikTok-style elements when appropriate
Help turn raw footage into polished, engaging TikTok Shop videos
Follow editing instructions and brand/product guidelines
Stay up to date on TikTok trends and editing styles
Make edits based on performance and feedback
Potentially help organize and manage video content
Requirements

Must have:

Excellent written and spoken English
Strong TikTok video editing experience
Experience specifically with TikTok Shop content is highly preferred
Understanding of TikTok hooks, retention, pacing, and CTAs
Ability to make videos feel native to TikTok rather than overly polished or corporate
Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Ability to take feedback and make revisions quickly

Editing software:
CapCut experience is strongly preferred. Experience with other editing software is a plus.

REQUIRED: Editing Example

Please include at least 1-3 examples of TikTok videos you have edited when applying.

Ideally, provide examples of:

TikTok Shop/product videos
UGC-style videos
Videos with strong hooks and captions
Short-form content designed for sales/conversions

Hours & Growth Opportunity

This position will start very small, around 2-5 hours per week.

As I continue growing my TikTok Shop business, I expect the workload to increase.

The right person could eventually take on significantly more editing work and additional responsibilities.

I am specifically looking for someone interested in building a long-term working relationship, not just completing a few one-off projects.

If you are interested in learning TikTok Shop and growing with a creator/business, there is potential for this role to become much larger over time.
